Farncombe Guides

The Farncombe Guides, who are based at Baden Hall in Tottenham Road, received funding (December 2011) towards much needed new camping equipment. The well-attended troupe enthusiastically participate in regular Go For It challenges which the funds will help them achieve. GOLO looks forward every year to supporting The Cellar's annual gifting of Christmas Hampers for Godalming's severely disadvantaged residents and 2011 was no exception. Pictured is Cellar manager Debbie Portsmouth (front centre) flanked by GOLO volunteers , and director Chris Jaggar (back) accompanied by Cellar staff and volunteers. The Cellar provides a friendly meeting place for local people to seek support for issues that are affecting their lives.

The Meath Epilepsy Trust

The invaluable and inspiring support that the Meath Epilepsy Trust provide at the Meath Home in Godalming includes specialist tuition and practical help for the many people that attend their Skills Centre and Arts Project. GOLO provided funding (November 2011) towards the purchase of photographic equipment to help Meath artists effectively display their work at local exhibitions and events.
