Godalming First Responders

The Godalming First Responders, who are St John's Ambulance volunteers trained to attend emergency calls in the critical minutes before an ambulance can be despatched, received a GOLO donation (December 2009) towards purchasing an additional automated external defibrillator. The Cellar at Christmas
The Cellar in Godalming has been able to buy Christmas hampers for local people in need thanks to a donation from GOLO (December 2009). Pictured above are Chris Jagger (left) and Debbie Portsmouth (3rd left) from The Cellar, which for over 25 years has provided a friendly meeting place where people with problems can meet and seek unprejudiced support from their staff and volunteers.

Baden Hall Urgent Repairs

Thanks to your support Baden Hall in Farncombe, which provides an important centre for local groups to meet, received funds (October 2009) towards the urgent cost of replacing fire doors to help prevent the closure of the hall.
Loseley Fields Year Six

Year Six pupils at the popular Loseley Fields primary school in Farncombe have benefitted from a GOLO donation (September 2009) to provide a subsidy to those families who are unable to fund extracurricular educational trips.
