Milford Hospital
The League of Friends at Milford Hospital work hard to raise funds and help provide supplementary welfare and support services at the hospital. With your help GOLO donated funds (August 2010) for the provision of replacement over-bed tables at the facility that provides vital rehabilitation services for the local community. Broadwater School, Farncombe
Broadwater School supports a hectic programme of music and drama within their curriculum and GOLO was delighted to be able to fund (June 2010) the purchase of PA equipment otherwise unaffordable to the school to enhance their productions. Orchard Pre-school , Milford
After a spate of break-ins and mindless vandalism Orchard Pre-school were confronted with the urgent need to be able to safely store equipment but without any available funds were powerless to do so. Thanks to your generosity GOLO have funded (June 2010) the purchase of secure storage. Baden Hall, Farncombe
The Scout & Guide Association are based at Baden Hall in Farncombe, a former church hall built in 1892 in Tottenham Road. The building, which boasts a large hall complete with stage and catering facilities, is in dire need of refurbishment if it is to continue to provide an important venue for community activities. GOLO provided a donation (June 2010) to go towards their refurb project.
